Jovan McCoy is a proud native of Seattle, Washington. His seed of faith was planted at the Southside church of Christ in Seattle, WA, and nurtured at the Holgate Street church of Christ in Seattle, WA. He is a proud graduate of Bishop O’Dea High School and went on to attend the University of Washington on a Football Scholarship. He holds a B.A. degree in Sociology along with studies in Society and Justice and Non-Profit Management. He has continued education in ministerial coursework through Western Seminary in Portland, OR, Corbin University in Salem, OR, and Amridge University in Montgomery, AL.
Brother McCoy has been actively preaching and teaching over 21 years , and has been a facilitator and speaker in local and regional conferences and Bible Lectureships. He is recognized as a passionate teacher of the Word of God and devoted to loving the saints, and developing fully functional followers of Jesus Christ.
He is a bi-vocational minister who works as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor for Clover Park Technical College and Pierce College. Jovan and his wife Terry have been married for 23 years, and have three children.
